I think you have him confused with Hillary. Most democrats like Obama because at least he doesn't sound like an idiot when he speaks.
Besides he gave his big speech about voting and how its in the hands of the college age voters and they need to get their asses out there and vote people who don't vote are the reason their party loses. Credit where its due, at least he didn't pull the Hillary and reel off the 15 reasons why she was screwed

The problem is he isn't on the ballot. He can get elected but his stated policies have always been Kryptonite to Democrats because few voters approve of his policies. He was elected because he was "historic;" he was reelected because nobody wanted to fire the black guy.
Why would a guy who benefited his entire life at every turn of his career from Elizabeth Warren style affirmative action complain about being screwed? He was handed a charmed life.

Then again trying to tout yourself a feminist while being married to a man who fucked everything in sight (willingly or not) who made a laughing stock of her, then she attacked his victims(Believe Ford and others, but not my husband's accusers!) may have cost her the vote of a lot of women

You would think she would have hidden in shame during the Kavanaugh hearings. If she weren't an entire megalomaniac you would think that she wouldn't have come up for air during the entire me-too movement. She and her husband dramatically set back the entire national dialogue began due to the very high standards of behavior insisted upon during the Thomas hearings about workplace behavior.
