Why is it that

even though I de-select the 'e-mail notification' box on threads, I still get these notifications? Has anyone else noticed this?

IF YOU SUBSCRIBE

to any thread and it's listed on your Control Panel, you will get the e-mail notices. What you are talking about deselecting is the e-mail notification of your individual post on each thread. I have stopped subscribing to threads and will just take the extra time to find my favorites, rather than get 20 e-mails a day telling me that someone has posted to my favorite thread.

yes i have noticed that too and found out that if you uncheck the e-mail notification box it unsubscribes you......i guess we just have to deal to have an eaiser time finding alll the treads we like

least that's what i'm doing

Yea I got on this morn and had to delete 122 e-mails from only 2 threads

Yikes! Sounds like these are threads that you can find easily and may not need to be subscribed to? If you want to see all the threads you are subscribed to, go to your user control panel. Click on the heading "Subscribed Threads". From there you can unsubscribe from them.

122's nothing. I see about 600 or 700 in my ISP mailbox every day. The funny thing about that is, my ISP thinks the Lit. e-mails are spam!
