Why is it not possible anymore to see the longer list of recently popular stories in any category?

Hi, I don’t know if this subject has been raised before, but it seems the problem that I am talking about has not been resolved. I have been reading on Literotica and one of the features that I appreciate greatly is the ability to see the stories that are recently popular today, in the last 7 days and the last 30 days. But when you want to see more of the stories that have been popular in the time frames that I named earlier now you get a blank white page. You only see the stories on the main page of any category, but when you want to see more of them it’s not possible. In the past it was working perfectly, but now it seems this feature is disabled. Is there a reason why it’s like that now? And will we be able to see more recently popular stories as was the case in the past? Thank you in advance for responding to my questions.

Not that responsive, no, but only Laurel can change policy. To the best of our knowledge, she's the sole owner.

Ok thank you, I will follow the link that you provided me. I will write my suggestion, but like you said at the end of the day it's in the hands of the person in charge to restore that feature or not. For me, it's just unfortunate that it is gone in the first place.

When you go to the bottom of the Forum page and hit Stories, you get to a long menu page for the whole site. When you click into any category, you get a 7 Days, 30 Days, All Time list - after the most recent twenty or so stories - scroll down a bit. Those lists work. Can't comment on any New Stories lists though, I don't use them.

Screenshot please?

This used to be true but the site design has changed and those aren't visible like they used to be.

My tablet device won't screen shot, but I wrote the sequence given above this morning, checking each step as I went along, to see exactly what I did. Nothing's changed on my device, it's the same as it's always been - my previous device was a ten year old Kindle, and from what I recall, it showed exactly the same thing. A temporary glitch, maybe?

Hi, these are the screenshots. The first one highlight the section that I am talking about. The subsequent ones show what happens when I click in regards to my example on more popular Erotic couplings above today, 7 days and 30 days.

It worked perfectly for me just now. Here's 7 days for Erotic Couplings.

Mozilla Firefox.

That doesn't seem to be a thing anymore lol, the links that say "More Popular..." is a dead link, leads to a 404 page, most likely discontinued

You could try this : Link
Works similarly I guess, just doesn't have the last 7 days, instead it starts at last 30 days

If you need the last 7 days, you could use this : Link
(U gotta scroll a bit, its after the "New Erotic Couplings Sex Stories" header)

Clicking on the "More Popular Erotic Coupling Sex Stories" will send you to the first link in this message~

Hi, when I click on the second link you have sent me, I am not send to the screenshot page that you have shown me. I don't see the 7 days/ 30 days/ All time even when i scroll down below "New Erotic Couplings Sex Stories" header. Me I am shown this. For the first link I thank you, it's another way to find recent stories. It's a bummer that they have discontinued the link that was below recently popular.

I don't really understand what legacy interface means, but like I said it all stems from the fact they discontinued a useful feature on the site. It would be nice if they bring it back, but I don't really hold my breath that they will do it.

It wasn't removed. Go to Stories (link below), scroll down to categories, click on one of them, scroll down, and there are links to 7 and 30 days worth of popular stories.

If you aren't seeing them, try a different web browser or a private/incognito window. Are you logged into your account?

Hello, I think I didn't express myself well. What I meant was that the functionality I'm talking about is still present on the main page of a category. Yes, I am able to see the recently popular stories of today/ 7 days/ 30 days that are visible on the main page of a category.

It's when you click on the link below the recently popular stories that are shown on the main page of a category that you are redirected to blank white page. Before, you were able to see a longer list of stories, not just the ones that are shown on the main page. I put a red square around the link that I am talking about on screenshot. When you click on this link now you do not see a longer list, but only a blank white page.

I am perplexed as to why you can’t see a longer list of stories anymore.

I tried it with Google chrome on a Chromebook, and amazon silk on a Kindle and also got a blank white screen.

I picked a random category and clicked this link:

I got this screen (zoomed out to fit it in):

Is that what you meant?

Yeah, I don't have that link. My link looks more like what is in @TigrisRex 's screenshot.
Me too I can't find the link that is shown in your screenshot @ TheWritingGroup. The link that was working before is the one that is found at the bottom of the Recently Popular section in the main page of any section of Literotica. Oh! Up above those at the top there is a button to try out the mobile friendly version of the website, if you click that then you'll get the buttons that @TheWritingGroup is showing. Unfortunately you can't easily toggle back and forth you'll need to opt out of public beta to go back to the other way, so I can't screen shot it now that I've clicked it.

It seems you are right @ NuclearFairy, me I was showing the classic version of the site and @ TheWritingGroup was showing me the new mobile friendly version of the website. This explains why our wires seemed crossed. My hypothesis now is that the link that I surrounded in the red box in my screenshot has been discontinued and has been redesigned in the mobile friendly version. This seems the most likely explanation. I guess now I have to use the new version of the site to find a long list of past stories that 7 days old/ 30 days old. Thank you for showing me the path to follow @ NuclearFairy.

No problem. It's also been bugging me for a while so I'm glad I was able to figure it out for the both of us.
