Posting as a new person can be nervewracking especially if you start up, or join into, a thread that becomes ummm.... 'interesting'.

I have never noticed being flamed so I either don't post provocative issues or people are to polite to tell me its rubbish!!

It amazes me that as a community (online and r/l) we are not always tolerant of other peoples kinks and interests. It is almost like a secret or hidden agenda of issues that are 'off limits.'

Well, shy, as one who's been flamed publicly and privately here, as well as having been followed to another board so the ass could flame again, you're not missing much! And you're saving money on asbestos undies!

We, that is kat and I do know one lurker around here, and her take is interesting. The nicest board so far she's found is the bdsm boards, but she doesn't really consider herself a bdsm-er. But it is the totally venomous atmosphere on some of the other forums here that scares her off.
