I just dont care anymore, my own life has too much meaning right now, as I am trying to deal with chemo treatments. I don't care, I won't be coming back to the forums.

Dear mo, Please be advised that your vent is pointed at a literotica member who seemingly holds this forum in contempt as witnessed by her replies on the latest Sleeping on the Wing poetry challenge thread. Wouldn't you be better emailing this reply to her personal email or private messages? At the very least, in a public forum you should address her by her registered literotica name to be certain she gets the message as you intend.

While I do understand your feelings, I think it's important to remember that people who are leaving comments on your poems are just regular folks with opinions, as differentiated from the actual "reviewers" who have volunteered their time to do good, fair-minded reviews in that sticky thread you see up at the top of the forum there. Those folks are doing their best to review poetry without any bias on subject or preference.

The comments are open to everyone, and one doesn't even have to identify oneself to leave one. So they're really not worth getting upset about. If it's your first negative comment, I know it's a hurtful surprise, but that's part of submitting work to Lit. If you don't want to take a chance on being negatively judged, you can always turn your comments function off.

I'm trying to think how many threads I'd have had to start if I wanted to rant every time someone said something shitty about me or about something I wrote.

that deserves a lol.

Just write the way you write, and don't worry too much about what people think. And if you don't want voting or comments, they're easily turned off.

good luck

What I do know is that she had NO right attacking me or making assumptions about me or my Master.
Please note: I am commenting on this statement alone. I am not commenting on your poem, nor on the comments which upset you, nor on your comments (other than the sentence quoted above) in this thread.

So. All of that being said, my comment would be that, yes, in fact, she does have the right to say absolutely anything she wants and that you have given it to her, and to anyone else, by allowing comments on your poem.

That's kinda what free speech means.

It may upset you. Obviously it has. The comments in question may be mean-spirited, or unfounded, or stupid, or just plain wrong. (Note also, I am not commenting on the comments themselves.) But given that you have allowed unmoderated public comment on your poem, you kind of get whatever you get. Way it works.

It may make you angry. It may make you cry. But you kind of asked for it.

Solution? Delete the comment, take some deep breaths (and perhaps a nip of some alcoholic beverage, should that be your chosen relaxant), right yourself, and go on with life. Alternatively, just turn comments off, as BJ suggested. Granted, you won't get the "I just LOVED this poem" comments, but you won't get hate mail either.
