Why I chose Artful

When I came online to the Lit website back in May of this year,
I was originally only looking for friends and info on a lifestyle,I had only heard about and read about(BDSM)...but yet never
experienced.I made friends almost instantly,as most people on
Lit are very easy to talk to.
Something ended up taking me to the Playground Forum,where I happened upon Jewelz Playhouse thread,and I met the lovely Jewelz(miss you) herself and my Sis(Angelofsex),and my friends
Buggy and Churchydom.I really enjoyed the friendliness and fun times I was having getting to know everyone on the thread.
at the time,my online name was dreamangel_49801.

I received a very nice ,respectful pm from AOS asking me if I would mind not bein called Angel",since people already called her that(and quite deservedly I might add)...so naturally I agreed
to lessen the con fusion LOL..TOO MANY ANGELS..
I told my new friend of my interest in becoming an online submissive,and having a Master..She immediately told me about both ARTFUL and Churchydom and Dom and I were already great buddies" and he was offline at the time anyways so i focused all my attetion on meeting this man "Artful",she was so animate about..

I had already met and spoke online to Artful and He had always treated me very nice so I was really happy to hearthat I could possibly stand a chance to get to kow Him even better.as a person and maybe even as my online Master...

At first it was hard on me having to learn the proper way to address Him and I was VERY PERSISTANT about Him taking me on
cause I wanted the Best..I think HE sensed my sincerity and evetually accepted the task of "training" me as His online submissive" which melted me' immediately.. It was no "easy" job either,believe you me!

I think I chose Him for His honest and straightforward approach
No.He is not cold or has ever been crude or callous to me in ANY way shape or form although at times ,it may seem so to others
as He disciplines,or shapes if you will me into the 'submissive slave'I yearn for and need to become for Both our happiness.

I apologize for the length of this post,but recently in Arkansas,when Master and I both met skin-to skin,face to face,for the 1st time(which was wonderful),anyways..He asked me at a local restaurant while we were dining "why did I choose ARTFUL?'
For the life of me,I could not find the words..IT HAS PLAQUED ME ever since..I felt that I let Him down in a most terrible way even tho my Master has reassured me that it certainly did not..
the words I felt so strongly in my heart,would simply not come out my mouth!!

Artful was chose because to me,He was and is REAL..a Real man with real ideas,feelings ,thoughts,goals,all of which now,thankfully
to GOD... include Me !!Recently in a phone call we shared,He let me know that HE had loved me for a long time..He was so making me think He was hard to get!! Sometimes He tells me He has waited for me for 20 years as His late wife passed away 20 years ago..
I will never nor do I wanna replace anyone He has ever loved,His love is rare,special,desirable to me and I accepted His collar that I now proudly wear as a symboland pledge of my constant faith in 'us'and OUR abiding love for each other..He IS my Love,my Master,and I am His Love,His slave....I submit to NO other ,only to Him..His loving ways ,guiding hands and Masterful voice and manner of Control is what I live for..I seek to please HIM..

very nice! now i have to think more about this... it's to easy to rest in our relationships and not express as clearly as you just did the why's and how's to our partners, thinking they see and feel it daily, it's still important to hear sometimes as well.

Artful must be both happy and proud to see this

is well taken.

Not only is it important for subs to express themselves in such ways,...but it is equally important for Dom/mes to do this.

It's called, "Communication", in a Long Term relationship, (whether it be daily skin-to-skin, LDR, or any mixture thereof), it is a MUST to have communication. The more you share, the better the relationship.

Of course,...this was a public display, and I hope it is beneficial in helping others to develope their relationships.

The gut wrenching communications take place in private. Both the good,...the bad,...and
the ugly.

Honesty is the core of communication, that will develope into a Long Term relationship. Dream and I are honest with each other, and that is why I chose misskittykatt's post to quote again:

"Artful must be both happy and proud to see this",

Yes,...it is true, it has made me both happy and proud to see Dream make such a post. Why?
Because it comes from her heart. Her heart, (as is mine), is filled to bursting with wanting to help others develope their OWN relationships.

I cant wait to learn and experience new and exciting things with my Master..He makes it all so so wonderful for me and meeting Him and being both trained and loved by Him is the best thing in my life!! ~
