I wouldn't call the good Colonel an "appeaser," but an intelligent, pragmatic man trying to do and say the right thing instead. I like Ogg, I think he means well, but may have inadvertently laid some of the paving stones on that road to Hell we all like to talk about.
When I see the tens of thousands in the Arab street cheering, hating and advocating jihad against America, I doubt that very few innocent male citizens exist in that street. To me they are the enemy, when I see them cheering some terrorist success against the West, I can't help but see in my mind's eye a gigantic regimental sized sheaf of air bursting artillery exploding along the entire length of that street,

And, this rally is Muslim, NOT primarily Chechnyan.
I have often heard and read of militant Muslims being a "fringe" element. 800,000 out of 1.3 million is a lot more than a fringe.
That would be true, but we are discussing the Muslims of Chechnya rather than all Muslims.
I agree, for the most part, but the link in the OP was about rallying against Charlie Hebdo. That is an issue of their religion, not their nationality.
