Why have the Crazies Started To Commit Mass Murders This Year ?

it's not happening where I live.
I guess that's the big difference between USA and New Zealand.
We are a modern, western, capitalist, free market, democracy with free and fair elections, with constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms, with public health care, a universal minimum wage, the right to own firearms, with same legal code (criminal and civil) applying throughout the country, respected internationally, and recognised by independent, international surveys as routinely being in the top 10 countries in the world in all areas of personal freedom, economic freedom, political freedom, equality and human happiness. Whereas the USA is a deteriorating shithole.

That sounds awful. :)

Biden* owns this. He's President, not Trump.

Gaslighting again.

Did you say that about your idol when shootings were occuring under him or is it one of those things, you give your political party a pass for yet blame the other party?

Didn't they teach us that the President isn't a king, we have a checks and balances government, and there is something called Congress? Why do Repugs keep obstructing?

You are a sad person.

This is a sick country.

Doesn't matter, POTUS is responsible for everything bad on their watch.

This blood is on Bidens hands.

Feel free to get the fuck out. :)

I can agree to disagree on this and I just point to all those "tyrannical" Govt's that actually ban hand guns as well as assault weapons(not hunter guns):

Uk
Canada
France
Spain
Portugal
Germany
Italy
Belgium
Netherlands
Poland
Czech
Hungary
Sweden
Norway
Finland
Australia
New Zealand

And many many others....are these tyrannical Govt's?

One cannot make a case of tyranny without showing how all these other countries do exactly what we are talking about, banning guns, and it has nothing to do with A2 and our history.

Banning guns, gun legislation does not make any govt tyrannical...thqt is my point.

I believe I stated many believe the Second is there in case of a tyrannical government. As for identifying tyrannical governments, I am not familiar with many on this list, in terms of their governments, but of the few I do know, and in comparison with the freedoms I grew up with, several will send police to my house if I hurt someone's feelings on social media, or charge me with a crime if a burglar hurts themselves on my property while breaking in, so yes, I would say, in my eyes they are rather tyrannical.

At one point Germany allowed civilians to purchase suppressors for their rifles almost over the counter, to keep the noise down from the neighbors while target shooting, yet at another point they allowed that New Year's Eve of rapes in Cologne, mostly by illegals, so they failed to protect their people completely there. Tyrannical? Maybe not. Keeping their people from defending themselves adequately? Yeah.

You are correct in that it doesn't make any other government automatically tyrannical. But this country, again, is different. I can certainly see a large percentage of people saying they want gun reform, but how many just want the violence to stop, and are being told from every corner that guns are the problem? What happened to blaming the criminal? The news plays on our fear, I think we can both agree on that.

Irrelevant attempt to cherry-pick. Most mass shootings are white loners with a chip on their shoulder and a clip in their semiautomatic.

Irrelevant attempt at "both-sides-ism". Be better.

I am not cherry picking, when stats say up to 80% of gun homicides occur from gang violence and drugs, that is a significant source of gun violence, wouldn't you agree?

Most mass shooters. Were you aware that many of the surveys that list mass shootings specifically exclude gang violence? Why would they do that do you suppose? Perhaps because if it was included, people would see where the majority of the problem is concentrated.

As for the both sides statement, you stated no President owns this, none! I merely agreed, pointing out that the side not in power always blames the ones in power for these happenings. And while you defend the current President, it was your side that quite loudly blamed the previous President for the same troubles that occurred while he was in power. Those that were blamed are no longer in power, and will blame those that are. Same will happen next time. I was just agreeing that blaming the President for a random citizen going bonkers was wrong. Regardless of the President.
