In the wake of the Oath Keepers convictions, this opinion piece emphasizes why enforcement of online forum guidelines is so important.

Scapegoating of minority groups, overt racism, and promotion of violence on this forum is not funny business, no matter how many cowardly anonymous cynics act like it's just a cute joke.

Keep draining the swamp, and don't post on the threads initiated by chronic repeat violators, like the BB alts. However, when they go beyond Lit's guidelines during their circle jerks, get them kicked out again.

Depriving them of a clear field to rev each other up for lone-wolf acts of hate is a good thing.

Unless it's promotion of "mostly peaceful protesting" against those FUCKING WHITE MALES!!! Then it's "progress" and you never complain.

I remember years ago there was a guy named ForestGump on the GB. I always called him Mr. Tree and everyone hated him. He was always nice to me. I don’t ask others to join on my like or dislike bandwagon. Why do you need everyone else to join you in keeping him off the boards? Ignore him, don’t read his threads, don’t respond and you’ll be good. If you see someone breaking TOS there is a report button.

I do look forward to seeing how successful this call to action is.

Two BB alts have been banned in the past week, and BoBo is back to claiming that Lit has no policy prohibiting the promotion of violence after being banned multiple times for doing exactly that. Their supporters are buzzing around on this thread like a disturbed hornets' nest.
