Why doesn't this work?

I've been trying to pimp up my Myspace profile for days. I've tried literally dozens of background creators / editors, where you copy the code and paste it into your "About Me" section in order to make the changes...

But it doesn't work

Either nothing at all shows up, or the background I've chosen just appears at the corners of the top banner.

It's doing my head in.

Everyone else's looks really cool, and mine's just boring and plain.

Help please????

Well, personally, I'm no help but I'd check with Ari. She's a wiz at code.

Hmmm - If you're above a certain age Myspace doesn't really work, or more frutratingly only does so intermittently - somehow it knows - but I wouldn't think you're there yet . . .

Wait, wait.

Click on "Profile".

That is what other people will see. You won't, unless you click it. You'll go to your "control panel" page, so to speak, which doesn't have pretty designs.

Give that a try.

It's not the code, because I've tried copying and pasting ones from various websites. And I have been looking at the profile that everyone else sees, not just my own homepage...

So that leaves me with Roxanne's theory. Maybe I am getting over the hill
