With the Brits advancing and the French retreating sounds more like a cluster fuck to me. I think it's an end around double reverse play for the Germans to take over Europe.

Sorry to say this, but the state of California alone has a larger economy than most of Europe COMBINED. America has the largest by many leaps and bounds over the entirety of Europe. So no, Europe would not be the "greatest" economic empire ever.
Um, militarily. Yes... I see. So you are saying that even though the US has a larger, better eqipped, more trained army, navy, marine corps and air force than Europe, somehow Europe United might be better? How? Would the French wear their berets? I know that fashion frightens the hell out of me.

In all seriousness, you could easily say that a united europe (truly united, no half-assed shit) would be a true economic and military force to be reckoned with. With the vagaries of time who knows? Maybe in a hundred years time America will be nothing but a memory on the world stage. Then again, maybe it'll be the United World of America.
I vote the latter.

With that out of the way, Let the Brits go to the EU, they have been trying to be part of someone elses idea since the Zulu wars. What big economic engine will drive this Economic Utopia? Eastern Europe? Africa? No it will be Germany! It took a little more than 50 years, but Hitler's idea of a united, cultured, Europe may come to pass. All it takes is a vote from the land of Neville Chamberlain ("Peace in our time"). Well, goosestep your way Oberst Blair, the U.S. will still be around to sweep up the mess you losers create.

I don't particually want to join a united Europe, but for Writer Dom to say that crap about us being the 51st state of America, you want to look at yourself .......where do you get your lanugage from , UH!!!....you speak some form of English , not well , I might add .....but you do try ......perhaps you do need some form of elecution to learn it correctly , and to learn some manners .....
