Why does the furnace decide to die..

when it's freezing outside?

Piece of shit.. it's working.. the gas is getting to the furnace.. the pilot light is lit.. but there is no freakin' heat coming out! (I do believe it's the thermostat in the house, that isn't working. repair man is being called in the morning.. )


Good god! I'm freezing! space heaters don't help either..

awwww i won't tell you about the roaring fire in the woodburner that made it so warm in mom's house that i had to open a window.

hope it's fixed soon, no heat in the winter really really sucks, i know.

My parents were/are so stupid.. I thought this when I was a teenager.. and KNOW it now..

They had a woodburning stove the whole time I was growing up.. oh the memories.. the rip roaring fires.. the open front door and windows.. and the fire department.. (because of the chimney fire my father was notorious for starting) *L*

Then they went to the gas furnace.. christ.. they are nice for NOTHING.. they have had nothing but trouble with it.

Repair man came today.. it wasn't sealed right.. I have been paying HIGH Gas bills for 5 years.. because it's been wasting gas.. I had them seal it correctly.. it cost a whole $46.. and.. guess what.. the house is warm.. and I don't have to have the thermostat up to 90 degrees to get it that way..
