First, that should be DVS, not dvs, and second, your assumption is I have either a fireplace or a generator?Kajira Callista said:thats what the fireplace and generator are for silly dvs
Back in 2001 (I think that was the year), when we had an ice storm of several inches hanging on the trees, a lot of the city lost electricity because the power companies saved money by not trimming tree limbs around power lines. Very quickly, there were no generators to be found.
My sister does have a fireplace, and that was what she did that year, when she was without electricity for nearly 2 weeks.
That year a tree limb fell on my house and punched a hole im my roof. Have you ever tried to get on a roof with several inches of ice and remove a limb? I'm sure it was a very comical scene, if anyone happened to see me sliding around up there, that night. The limb was very large, but I did clog the hole around it enough to keep water from leaking in for the night.
I'm sure, if this present situation had been much worse, the same falling limb problem would be true. But, I never lost power, and for some ironic reason, the power company that provides my electricity had very few power outages. Maybe they spent the money for tree trimmers this year when the larger power company didn't...they had quite a few outages.
And, I guess I could have purchased a kerosene heater, if I needed heat, but they really aren't always safe to run continuously. I'm just thankful none of that was necessary.
Now that I think of it, a naked submissive female tied with her ass in the air, a nice hard wood paddle close by, I think I could generate enough heat on her behind to stay warm. And, the red glow would have been sufficient light too, I assume.
Not only could that be a perfect way to stay warm, it could be the perfect past time, too. I think I'll have to keep that in mind, for the future. We do have our share of nasty winters.

his winter sounds way too much like mine *crosses fingers*
