Why do men love big breasts ?

Personal opinion here. No expert, and sorry if offend anyone, but I prefer big breasted ladies, because to me, they're more feminine.

Small or non existent breasts (looking at bone thin super models) just look too masculine.

Whilst this is an extremely biased pictures it sums up why I dislike small breasted woman.

Also, stereotyping further, small breasted ladies are generally thinner, and personally I find seeing or being able to touch the skeleton just off putting.

Whilst my experience is limited (my dating profile is limited), but as a foodie and someone who isn't into extreme exercise routines I've just found larger women easier to date and get along with. Smaller boobed woman just seemed higher maintenance (often more fussy to cook meals with/for) and would have less time for leisure as they would spend more time out exercising. They also just didn't have the same personality traits I liked. Certainly back in the day, clubbing or going to the pub, the smaller thinner woman just seemed less educated and unable to hold a decent conversation.

Finally I might add, that as a tactile person, I love big boobs in bed. There is more to play with. Small boobs just don't have that 'flesh' to bite and kiss and don't bounce/move/rock in an eye pleasing way and certainly one imagines would struggle to offer a satisfactory tit wank.

Again sorry if the above offends anyone. It is not my intention and I am very self aware that alot of my thoughts are very stereotypical, but it's what I have experienced. I am just trying to verbalise my thoughts in response to the OP.

I have the exact opposite opinion but I think it’s wonderful that there are men who prefer more like you and some who prefer less like me. It works out great for the large breasted women, the flat chested women and everyone in between - there are men who love them just as they are.
 
I think the love of larger breasts was hard-wired into the male brain during our evolution. The primary goal of the male of any species after his own survival is passing on his genes to as many offspring as possible. In order to be successful at doing that, his offspring have to be carried to term, be born, and then live until they reach maturity and can breed. How do women accomplish this task? They make milk to feed the offspring. While not common today, in the not so distant past it was considered normal for a woman to nurse a child through at least the first two years and sometimes the first three years of life.

While it's a common misconception that a woman with small breasts can't make enough milk to feed a child for that long, what really matters is how large her breasts grow during pregnancy. Still, it probably would have been to a male's advantage to select for larger breasts over smaller breasts. He would have just been increasing his odds of siring offspring that lived to maturity. That hard-wired instinct is still with us today, just like wide hips. Wide hips would have told ancient man that the woman would have been able to carry a child to term and then birth that child successfully.

Several studies have shown that across cultures, men don't really favor huge breasts. They're attracted more to whatever the studies presented as "medium" rather than really large. At least one study conclusion was that the favor of large breast size isn't an evolved trait, but I think it's a stretch to extrapolate studies of modern humans to ancient times. One reason is that humans, being intelligent for the most part, tend do develop reasons to explain things they don't understand or that don't seem to be logical. Most men looking a women aren't really thinking about the children she'd have with him. They're thinking about how much fun it would be going through the motions of making that happen. Their response to the question would have something to do with attraction, but not at such an elemental level as survival of offspring.

The "venus figurines" from the stone age all have large breasts and wide hips to the point of being obese. Some writers have concluded these figures represent fertility because large women would have been better able to survive in a time where food was sometimes hard to come by. Survival of females would have been important to males because without a fertile female, he couldn't pass on his genes.

Either way, if men selected mates based on breast and hip size, they would have been bettering their odds of producing offspring

I'm with you. I prefer smaller breasted women. My late wife was a 35-C and petite. I know a lot of guys that go nuts over huge breasts and medium to large women. Push come to shove, it is the woman that does it for me.
 
According to a sex ed video I saw around 30 years ago, women's breasts swell during arousal, around 25%. So breasts already big may give a false impression of arousal. I never personally noticed this swelling process, since I was probably kissing or touching some other part, and I forgot that video until now.

I've noticed, but the increase in size wasn't really much. It was more of her breasts becoming firmer than before.

Shows how bad sex ed is these days. If there are any women around who can swell their breasts 25%, I haven't met them. And I think they'd be porn stars, displaying that talent. Nipples, maybe, but not boobs.

I remember a dialog in a story that went like this:

As for me, I'm not a fan of breasts larger than a D-cup. It's nice when my lover is on top and I can see her breasts dangle and sway, and when she tit-fucks me, but that's about it for what turns me on. I don't get a thrill from just seeing them. (Maybe that's because I'm a nudist, and I see a lot of women with big breasts in normal contexts.)

Visually, smaller-breasted women turn me on more than the larger-breasted variety. I don't know why... maybe it's a throwback to the time when I was just getting interested in girls in high school, and most of them were small-breasted.

But Fabmichy, your DDs wouldn't rule out a friendship with me or people like me. Just be happy with what you've got, and remember that surgery is always an option if you'd like a breast reduction due to back problems or whatever. I love all boobs a real boob opportunist. For me at least the appeal that comes from bigger boobs are the curious questions I have about them sometimes not all sexual. Like how heavy are they? Are they the big stiff kind or the big squishy kind? Also they are just pillows and who doesn't like a good pillow

Well said and a good explanation how men are hardwired by our evolution as a species to favor larger breasts. I think the term I heard back in college class on human evolution, is "epigamtic displays". That is the femae breast and hour glass figure convey by sight the "fitness" of the woman to bear and take care of children. The V shape of a man's chest is also such a display also conveying to women "fitness" of the male. Some of that hardwiring has not gone away no matter how much knowledge that women of all breast sizes and shapes can conceive and bear children as well as women with larger breasts and figures. Also men today are evaluated by the pocket book and portfolio for their "fitness" - after all money is sexy. In summary, we have changed with thhe times and medical knowledge but as a species we often fall back to our evolutionary tendencies from time to time.
 
I believe some of my fetishes are due to events in my childhood. I have walked in on my mom many times messing around in front of her mirror with her robe wide open and large breasts barely covered. I remember feeling funny as a kid and this was before puberty.

Long ago, “the one that I let slip away” was a large breasted tall beautiful woman. She commanded all attention when she walked into a room.
