why do major network TV stations present Wingnuts as sane ?

There is no voice on the major network TV stations to say that these people are not sane, are not stable, and are not worth paying attention to, until they are taken into protective custody.

Or, they end up on the news as nutcases who shot up the place, and killed people before trying to kill themselves.

Instead, they present them as viable voices, deserving of consideration and respect.

WTF ?

Are they afraid of lawsuits ?
Are they watching their revenue streams ?

Is it because Wingnuts are running for office, and there are legal considerations ?
