why do girls talk on the phone so much?

man... why can't girls understand?
when i say i need sleep, they've always got a big argument following it "oh, so now you find me boring, i am putting you to sleep."
NO! SLEEP IS PUTTING ME TO SLEEP!

LOL! Yayati - I'm the same. I hate talking on the phone - come to my house and talk to me instead - don't bug me.

We're communicators by nature. Just watch even preschoolers at the park....the girls play cooperatively and hug and kiss and chat about their weekend - at three!

I have a few people I LOVE talking on the phone too..but only because I can not be with them.

One inparticular I just sit on the phone with half the time saying nothing just well because we can! lol

{edit- the previous two posts weren't here when I started}

While the boys play football (one of my favourite childhood memories is when my classmates let me win at '5 and in'. I knew they were going to do it, but they put on a good act for a bunch of 10 year olds.) or soldiers.

Don't know, Yayati. Perhaps we might also learn why women go to the toilets in groups. Men in public lavatories are silent and stare straight ahead at all times. Some advertisers seem to have caught on, posters are now placed above urinals.

Unless there's some sort of geographical seperation that makes gatherings impossible, I don't understand the overuse of the phone. I use it too much for work already, I couldn't imagine someone intentionally using it.

I don't think this applies to females only, I know way too many guys who talk on the phone for personal reasons all the time.

Like the guy in front of me at the hockey game.

But he went home covered in beer.

I was happy.

You know. It might be a bit late, but I think there should be just a little more of a veil of seductive mystery between the genders.

That is why I won't explain the joys of writing your name in the snow.
