God damn it... I wanna know...

And you cant put another one over the top casue you cant see the preinted stuff on the other side of the CD case... it SUCKS

It is so you will go and spend way to much money on replacements.

I hate it also

Its because the Chef is drunk when he handles his discs.

(I use several CD books, wroks great)

I have 350 discs... not a hope of walleting all of them.

Its only ever the clear ones and it fucking sucks

I have over 750 and hold them in books of 200+, with a seperate 50 wallet for mp3 discs in the car.

What do you do with the cases? I love having them organised as I do... Fucking hate the wallets, I've seen how badly the discs can be damaged in em too.

I have some of the jewel cases, but nearly all the discs are in wallets/albums. i dont hang onto the booklets for the most part, but about half my discs are homemade anyway.

I dont have any problems with scratches in my books because I keep them really clean, i find it much more convenient.

If you want to keep them in the jewel cases I would suggest investing in a nice wooden bookcase style rack for them.

The jewel cases will break on you because they basically suck. I'd but some new ones or if you have friends like myself you have given up on them...ask for some that they dont want.

I use the "slim" colored cases.

blue and orange are programs
green and pink are games
yellow and purple are music.

Makes finding things easier

I also don't use the "original" cds.. i use CD Clone and copy all of my cds.. originals are kept in a safe place..

Ahhhh , you see almost all of mine are bought and I do hold onto the booklets... I only need about 10 clear insert cases... but it gets me how you can open a cd and you hear as someone else termed... "The death rattle" and you havent even touched it.

Conspiracy.. the bastards.

I guess you dont let anyone else go near your CD's MM

Personally I use the paper envolopes to store my cd's in. if your worried about them getting damaged from cd wallets stop by your nearest Electronics Boutique, babbage's or software etc. and pic up a game doctor. This will repair most mild scratches on any cd, they also have pads to remove deep scratches. Added bonus for gamers is that it comes with a written guarentee that if you purchase a game there and it gets scratched beyond repair they will replace it free. When I bought one it was 29.99 for manual and 49.99 for the motorized one
