Why can't I post?

I'm making this thread to see if I can.. I've been trying to post all morning, but after I hit submit, I get redirected to the top of the page and my post doesn't appear. If I try again, the system tells me that someone else had posted the exact same thing in the past 5 minutes and "redirects" me to the thread.

Anyone have this problem before? The little box on the bottom of each page says I can post and stuff.

Yep, Lit's been having issues all morning. It's probably just the occasional hiccup in the system, and it appears to be working fine for now.

When this happens I always attempt to repost. Usually it will tell my I just made an identical post and redirects me to the top of the thread. That way, even if my post isn't visible, I know it's in the system and will show up eventually. Lit sometimes has issues like that, probably due to some kind of technical maintenance or something.

Sorry about the issues with the forum for a few minutes (or an hour?) today. They should be resolved and things should be back to (ab)normal now.

Thanks to all of you that contacted us and let us know when the issues started and hopefully this won't happen again too soon.

Seeing as how it took me ten minutes to post this, maybe not so resolved.

Seems fine now.

If you find you're having difficulties posting, make sure to copy your post BEFORE hitting the submit button. If it doesn't go, you'll be able to repost later. Also, it allows you to hit the refresh button on your browser to see if your post did in fact post. If it did, you're done, if not, you've got the post copied in memory to try again.

If you're still having troubles, paste your post in an email and save them to post up later when the forum is back on its feet.
