Why can't I chat???

Can anyone help me to get the chat program working...I've tried everything! It starts the page with "DigiChat is loading...please wait" then the status line goes to "done" but the thing never loads, it just stays on that screen!!! I'm so frustrated!!!!

Hi lil-brandi, hope this helps you out...I am ksss, one of the chat monitors...depending on if you are trying to go directly to the chat room when you sign on, or if you have been using your puter for numerous things before you sign on, the chat uses quite abit of RAM, so make sure you clean out your harddrive frequently. After doing this you will need to reboot so your puter "dumps" all of the existing RAM. Try logging into Lit Chat again, if you are still having problems loading the chat, you may want to make sure you have the updated copy of Java Virtual Machine ( I believe the correct version is now sun1.3 version). Do not feel alone in your inability to not gain access to chat, I answer quite a few emails on this every day. Since the upgrade, even the chat monitors have been having problems getting in or staying in the chat area. If you have any other problems you can email me by clicking on my name on the log in page for the chat area. Good luck!

Thank you Ksss. I tried a few things the other day like that. I emptied all the history folders, cookies, etc. I got advice from you about it. But nothing worked. The thingy about the Java Machine I didn't know. is that something I can download???
