Why the hell can't Canada just give up this silly fight to be individualist and just join the US and become the 51st state or what ever.

Then we can have real money for once!!!!

I just spent the last hour searching for hotel rates and flight prices and everything, just to find out all the stuff i was looking at was in American Dollars.

Lets just adopt the US dollar and be done with it.

Just like the Euro, but well...we'll just get the USD.

Sounds like a good plan to this Canadian!

because Quebec doesn't want to play with the other kids. They are antisocial...and unilingual. (sorry to the frogs here)

Because then you guys will have to shoot a lot more people (Only 165 gun deaths/year in Canada) become more Arrogant and pay out the ass for healthcare.

You make a very good point here.

But we already pay out the ass for health care, but they just incorperate it into a 56% tax ;) Plust 15% Sales Tax and 52% Gas tax..etc..etc..etc..and Mia, you're getting wacked with another .03cent hike i hear...damn..

not the .ca ones.

And thus i got excited untill i found out it was all in USD.

how much are you guys paying? It's 1.65 here... continually increasing.

To compare is like comparing apples and oranges...the standard price in town now is 0.86 per litre...and rising. I drove to the Interior of BC this weekend and gas prices are less...but that is because they are not taxed for rapid transit.

1 Liter = .22 Gallon
.66 US Dollars = 1 Cdn Dollar (Current rate according to Xe.com)

=

$2.58/Gallon (US)
