Why are the supporters of Bush so quiet?

There was a time not long ago when every criticism of GWB would produce new revelations about Clinton's sexual perversions..

Now nothing but a deathly hush hangs over the Republican camp.

Could there be a sea change in the air?

Are we soon to see T-shirts with "Don't Blame Me - I Voted For The Side" printed on them?

Will America return and take it's rightful place as Leader of the Free World?

Times they are a-changing...

:D

Aww...go on...

I haven't written one of these for weeks...

Be a sport...

:D

Why?

Because lately he has done nothing for which anyone - anyone - would want to support.

Clinton's sexual perversions?

Why should we bring that up? We won that argument. Look how the liberals are ready to hang Condit over sex.

It will take some time to fix what Clinton/Gore fucked up. But it will be done. Just stay the course, P P

:D

they're lying low -

The Bushies are licking their wounds in the stock market, quietly wondering if the Treasury Secretary is as big a dodo as he seems, watching Colin Powell's daily castrations, wishing the EPA hadn't released the report on how horribly badly the guy who's supposed to be the next EPA enforcement chief ran the Ohio environmental effort, fearing that Bushie is serious about letting all the Mexicans have green cards, etc. etc. Feel for them....

They have been on vacation.

He took a month off. But he's back, and he's gonna try to be badder than ever!

Be patient, there's some mighty good theatre on they way. Son of Son of Reagan, act 2, after these commercial messages.....

they've been silent on these things too

Jobless Rate Surges to 4-Year High? Hmmm.. who was president 4 years ago? Guess it wasn't an issue to the liberal press then.

Bush created the recession, the decline in the market, and the heartbreak of psoriasis.

Don't you know anything?

Yeah, I know. It was fear of Bush winning that drove the market down last year. Bush is stupid. He is a puppet of the oil companies. He's not "hands on" like Bill. All republicans care about is making money at the expense of the working man. The United Nations knows what's best for America. We should be more like Europe. Bush wont be happy till every living thing on the planet is dead. Colin isn't an African American. Ashcroft is a 1000 times worse than Reno. If you are getting social security now spend it wisely. Bush will bankrupt it in 4 years. It's good to sell rocket technology to our not so friendly neighbors. Only Presidents deserve interns And the affair is only between the husband and the wife. Unless a seat in congress could be lost, of course.

Atta boy!

Just remember the most important rules to follow:

Always use what ifs and maybes, not facts
Use slogans whenever possible
Exaggerate, exaggerate, exaggerate
Anytime they criticize the actions of a Liberal,
ignore the real issue and attack their guys
If you get caught use plenty of doublespeak

Good Luck

Actually, I've been silent because this is a liberal democrat dominated board and it's like trying to explain reality to Todd. My head hurts enough as it is without trying to beat it on a brick wall. We'll never agree and there is NO good debate on the topic because of flaming political rhetoric tossed on both sides.

I don't bother because no one here would listen to my point of view anyway. They haven't in the past and I don't see any reason while they would in the future.

I don't bother because every anti-Bush thread started automatically assumes the man is stupid or a "pretender."

I don't bother because half the democrats on this board have their head stuck so far up Clinton's ass that they think his shit don't stink.

I don't bother because I'm a republican and aside from perhaps two other people on this board, no one else is.

I don't bother because I see no reason to defend my political stance to a bunch of people who cried "I'm moving if Bush gets in!" and then didn't.

I don't bother because I have no intention of in-fighting with board liberals because we will never see eye to eye on issues that matter to us, like abortion, gun control, legislative intrusion into the nuclear family, or the importance of the military.

I don't bother because people like ppman who can't see past his own blinders have nothing even remotely helpful to say other than "Bush has made us a laughingstock." Well, I don't see anyone laughing at us.

I don't bother because I like the stance Bush has taken with the rest of the world. I hated, absolutely loathed the kow-towing and ass kissing that Clinton did to the international community. I'm glad that is over.

I don't bother because I don't have enough time to waste finding unslanted media reports to support my opinions with. They don't have many conservative publications readily available and Bush is the media's public enemy number 1. I try not to mouth unsupported opinions and using GOP run news sites to do so is like Uncle Bill's use of libertarian rhetoric to justify his opinions and Todd's exclusive use of Boortz as factual support.

I don't bother because I don't want to fight about it. Liberals didn't support Clinton 100 percent either. The man lied, cheated, and stole. He used his office to pardon people who filled the Democratic coffers and he supported legislation that lessened my rights. I don't support Bush 100%. ANWR has me pissed off beyond belief. It's the largest virgin biome in the world and it's gone forever. Of course, how many of us on this board have quit driving? Clinton signed several treaties, like Kyoto and this Child thing and he never got them ratified. Bush has been office for 9 months now? Do you honestly think that it only takes 9 months to wipe out an economy? We were in a recession before Bush had even beaten McCain. It was the last year of Clinton's reign when the bottom fell out of the dot com market and the economy got fucked. I don't think the President has nearly as much to do with the strength or weakness of this economy as everyone else seems to, I think he may have a little to do with it, but since the budget hasn't even been approved yet, I fail to see how he could have affected it.

I don't bother because I don't really care what the President does. Congress makes the laws. Hell, Congress hasn't even managed to confirm most of the administration appointees even though they've been sitting with a clean slate from the FBI for months. Bush won't get me killed, not like Clinton could have. Bush isn't going to kill anyone else on this board either.

I don't bother because I can see your side of things. I can understand why you hate Bush and you hate everything Bush stands for. I can understand why you think Bush is the antichrist that's going to plummet America into the very pits of hell to be devoured by whatever nations want to fight over our ruined and desolate countryside. I think the same thing about the Clinton Dynasty. The problem is, none of you seem to see my side of things. You can't understand how I'd want to own a gun. You don't understand how I'd want more military spending, even if it means sacrificing other programs. You can't understand how I'd want get rid of funding for things like the National Endowment for the Arts. You can't understand how I could care less what the government does with social security because it's not there anymore anyway. You don't understand me. Moreover, I don't think you care to.

I recognize this board for what it is, the political polar opposite of me. You aren't going to get a rise out of me for lambasting Bush. I recognize it for what it is, the same fits of temper I went through when Clinton first took office. You'll either get over it or you won't. I did. You don't have to agree with Bush at all, in fact you don't even have to sit still and take it.

So, flat out, I don't bother. No point in alienating my friends over differing political views.

A defeatist huh?

:D

No, ppman, intelligent. But if you like, I'll start a pissing contest with you and show you what confrontationalism is all about.

Muffin, you miss the whole point of debating

...the Liberals here. I don't care about the politics or who is right or wrong. The real fun is watching them go postal.

They are such easy fish to catch. Just toss the bait in the water and watch them hook themselves.

That's what I thought I was doing with Bush's Babes...

:D

But I don't want to bait them. I like them. I like having intelligent debates with them. Some things just don't debate well.

Miller Kuffin

But they don't debate the issue with facts, and when that happens it starts getting vewy, vewy scwewy.

Maybe next week.

Let's attack British politics. There hasn't been anyone with balls over there since Thatcher.

Chances are that once Japan's population starts to age, the EU will be the second greatest power on the planet. Then PP will feel better about himself. Don't upset him by bringing up the former country, England.
