Abs and Vana have their own issues right now.

Mal and Jammies left for personal reasons.

Several other people are either backing away from Lit or leaving due to personal issues with other Litizens. Some people are just disgusted with the amount of trolling.

And some are simply bored and found other things to do with their time.

If I ever get a life, I might too.

Speak for yourself. I plan on never getting a life.

People come, people go....we miss them.

the door is always open for their return, and sometimes they do, thankfully...

Just like real life.

Unfortunately, the person I miss the most can't come back. :(

Sure she can. Just not in the form we're used to.

I don't know why people are leaving. I just know that I'm busier than a one-legged man at a butt-kicking contest.
:)
I have a question.

Why are so many people using alts?

*POUNCE* (ouch)

I can tell you why I want to leave some days...

The cheesedicks that are the Troll Nation.

I'm toying with the idea of clearing my list, and removing all my stories from Lit. Then, of course, I'll have to justify writing by selling them...

It seems like a lot of trouble over the annoyance of a moment. On the other hand...

Anyone cross post on other sites? I'm thinking I may enjoy cross-posting a bunch of my Lit stuff on another site, and see what a different group of readers would make of them.

No, but that's because my writing is crap and would only feed a whole new breed of forum troll :)

I've toyed with the idea of taking one or two someplace else, and had to with one set (they were moderately well recieved) but every time I think about it I get another flaming peice of troll feedback and change my mind LOL.

Here's one, but you'd blow every author there out of the water with your first submission.

As someone who met her best friend here, who had a romantic relationship here, who made other very special (hopefully) long-lasting friendships here, I'd have to agree with you. It's a message board, sure, but the people here are more than just names on a screen; they're family.

I  my family, too -- even the smelly, warty ones.

Hells Bells DGU, there's some of us who just climbed on this bandwagon and I for one am having a blast! I have no intention of leaving until the literary well runs dry and/ or it becomes a chore.

Let's not focus on scores and trolls and let them ruin our fun. It takes a carpenter to build a barn, but any jackass can kick it down. I,for one, am still wearing my tool belt and carrying a nail gun.

Some folks will come back, and the rest, good fortune to them.

RIP Colleen and Gabrielle.

Peace.

Oh, I agree on that. I love the people on the boards (mostly) and would never leave the forums. It's what happens with the stories that are pissing me off.

I've left lit for a year or so, twice. My spare time fluctuates a lot, and I tend to avoid it when I'm really busy, because I easily get sucked into spending an awful lot of time on it.

For me, Lit is often frustrating because the closest people to me are farthest away.

Sometimes Lit makes me feel less lonely, sometimes it makes it worse.
