Of course they agree with you. They support your statement, and as such are "credible" examples in your mind. The same people, had they expressed the viewpoint that height made no difference, would be written off as "not representative of reality" as you have been more than willing to do in the past.

It's a very interesting dynamic, watching you selectively acknowledge someone else's opinions depending on if they agree with whatever point you're trying to make and completely dismissing those that stand in stark contrast even if they are the majority.

I tower over people your height. I'm also fat. Which means that I would look like a mountain next to you.
That being said, part of it is complete vanity- I don't like being bigger than my partner.
The other thing, is that I like to be able to snuggle in my man's arms, and feel like he can protect me.
