Why Are Cops So Scared?

Btw, that 147 figure I posted was incorrect, here are the correct numbers:

FBI Releases 2019 Statistics on Law Enforcement Officers Killed in the Line of Duty

"According to statistics reported to the FBI, 89 law enforcement officers were killed in line-of-duty incidents in 2019. Of these, 48 officers died as a result of felonious acts, and 41 officers died in accidents. Comprehensive data tables about these incidents and brief narratives describing the fatal attacks are included in Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted, 2019, released today."

If only we had the FBI data on violence and murder committed by the police for comparison. :(

That Williams guy will be on the news one day for murdering a black motorist.

I thought the same thing. You get the feeling he unholsters his weapon every single time he encounters a POC.

Note to conager: "POC" means "person of color"

Thank you for the props. I am a fan of any maneuver that can be done to make both law enforcement and the subject of arrest safe.

If there are better techniques they should be deployed, of course. Actually, other techniques are already utilized. The goal is to immobilize the subject, not kill them or permanently injure them.

Officers that abuse subjects should be reprimanded and more, as necessary and as spelled out in federal, local or state laws and regulations. Subjects that injure or attempt to injure law enforcement personnel should also be punished legally to the fullest extent of the law.

Why not punish both groups equally?

I've never understood why people make exceptions for police. They should be held to a higher standard, if anything.

At a minimum, have a 1 strike and you're out rule - you can pull that shit once, then you lose the weird magical legal protection of being a cop.

You apparently can't read and comprehend. Read it again.

If you fail a second time please go away forever.

he asked you why you supported a double standard and you went "full-Conager" on the deflection.

Your man-card got pulled.

I think the biggest problem is that for an American cop his first solution to any problem is gun. That should be the last option.

I think the biggest problem for american cops are people with your thought process. The biggest problem for cops are citizens that lack of respect for the law, resisting arrest and the lack of back-up from their political leadership. A real problem will be the Ferguson effect and trust me that will be ugly. Many police officers are already filling for early retirement and as political idjits continue to make policy that doesn't support or protect police officers from lawsuits or disrespectful citizens city managers won't have to worry about budget shortfalls, they won't have a police force and recruiting high quality individuals will be a thing of the past. The left is cutting off their nose to spite their face. They're blue cities so who cares, maybe NY will be CHAZ East coast.

No double standard. Apparently you can't read either. Here it is again.

"Officers that abuse subjects should be reprimanded and more, as necessary and as spelled out in federal, local or state laws and regulations. Subjects that injure or attempt to injure law enforcement personnel should also be punished legally to the fullest extent of the law."

Why your double-standard? You hate cops. You love criminals. I am guessing one or more family members are in prison or were killed during criminal activity. That's sad. Dealing with it is difficult. It's NOT your fault unless you participated.

If only you got off the couch to join law enforcement. Do something. Stop bitching.

Put down the Little Debbie treats. Yes, they are irresistable.

There you go again...

Newsflash: One doesn't have to do a job in order to expect others to competently do the job that they're paid to do.

Having brain surgery? Don't criticize a brain surgeon until you've performed brain surgery yourself.

See how ridiculous this is?

You're qualified to criticize a neurosurgeon? On what basis? How could you possibly develop an opinion, when you (obviously) know nothing about neurology?

RobDownSouth is a neurosurgeon, political pundit, physicist, and law enforcement expert.

Apparently. With a hatred of cops and capitalism.

I don't get his distaste for cops. He homoerotisizes men with guns, calls their guns "Teh Steel Penis Extensions."

He seems fine with armed, minimally trained guards. He once breathlessly reported that a couple of "those people" as he calls them had approached him and the woman asked for spare change. He "knew" it was a "set up" in order to rob him so he pushed the black woman down and ran to hide behind the armed guard at the Goodwill.

Why would he approve of armed guards, but not police protection? What would have wanted to happen if the black male of the pair had been as aggressive as he fantasized? Should the armed guard have shot him? What does he think "Teh Steel Penis Extension" is for if not the application of deadly force as a last resort?

I think you were pretty clear that excessive use of force ought to be punished yo the fullest extent of the law. I don't know of anyone that disagrees with that.

RobDownSouth doesn't have a distaste for cops. RobDownSouth loathes police officer and law enforcement.

Something happened. An ugly traffic stop experience? Maybe a horrific jail experience? Those could affect someone for years. Life changing.

If police officers or fellow inmates physically or sexually abused RobDownSouth those officers or inmates must be held accountable. And counseling should be made available.

Yep, the last time he went to jail and was asked to bend over, spread'em, and cough, something terrible might have happened.:D;)

Try again.

As Ishmael's crack band of law enforcement special ops ninja hackers can no doubt confirm, I've been pulled over three times in my decades of safe driving.

1. Made a right turn on red, where there was a "no right turn on red" sign posted. Verbal warning.
2. Failure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. $25 ticket plus $15 court fee.
3. Failure to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Written warning.

Never have seen the inside of a jail, either. Never been detained, arrested or anything else.

So just the masturbatory fantasies of oppression by men with big penis extensions, then?

Big penis extensions are usually a shame. Tried them all. One worked but I am a paid-for spokesperson so I cannot reveal more.

got another link? that one says the video has been removed

youtube link

If you get a chance, watch the various videos on that channel. A group of law abiding black folks filming overreactions of cops in every day situations.

But hai, BoBo swears there's no such thing as 'white privilege'.

Another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imOJfO3yB74 where officers declare citizens have no open carry rights in police dept parking lots.

Where is that staunch defender of open carry, BoBo?
