Somehow I don't think Dixville Notch NH is completely representative of the US of A as a whole but it is kind of a cool way to get your burg noticed.

This place does hold the record for the earliest opening polls,,, at 12:01 am,,, haven't heard a peep about them being a predicting factor,,, though almost EVERYTHING else has been touted as a prediction factor

My vote, for better or worse is cast now

Last election they favored Dole just as strongly. That's all it means, other than they're flooded with reporters at 0030 asking them why they voted for whom and why are they so drunk and is that really clam chowder?
