Who's your favorite classic film star?

A few that come to mind are, Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, and, Olivier.

Bette Davis

Not only was she beautiful (Gawd those eyes!) but she was an incredibly talented actress.

Gotta be Mr Bogart :)

Followed closely by Erol Flinn

I'll be agreeing with this one. Bette Davis had it all.

Rudolph Valentino.

I think my fav would have to be either Cary Grant or Audrey Hepburn

Favorite...

I have to pick just one?

If just one it is a toss up between Bogart and Valentino...if can choose any?

Then add in Neuman, Gable, Grant, and I have to admit the moves these men had...Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Give me a spin anyday!!!

The one of my many favorites that makes me feel elated after watching one of his movies; Gene Kelly
He was part of the fading generation of cinema greats that could sing, dance, act, and create the scripts. Not like the mono-dimensional pukes I have to pick from today. Just an observation..not an opinion.

#1 Katharine Hepburn

Then ...

Rita Hayworth
Lana Turner
Burt Lancaster
Cary Grant

JL:kiss:

Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, though mind you, somedays its Rock Hudson and Doris Day.

james cagney and mickey rooney

has a weak spot for those early mickey rooney judy garland movies, and of course who could forget "YOU DIRTY RAT":D

Audrey Hepburn

... for me she is the most beautiful and most classy Lady.

Halo :rose:

I definitely agree with Siren and Juicylips...

RITA HAYWORTH!

Incredible.

Then I'd go with Bogart, Bacall, Orsen Welles, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Danny Kaye, Gene Kelly...

I better stop now or I'll be typing all day.

My favorite male is Gregory Peck

But, always liked Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy, Jack Lemmon, Walter Mathau, James Cagney, and Lionel Barrymore.

My favorite female is probably Katharine Hepburn.

Favorites are Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Judy Garland, Ginger Rogers, Natalie Wood, Ethel Barrymore, and Hermione Gringold (supporting actress).

I learned to like Elizabeth Taylor....but, it took a while.

Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe, Gary Cooper, Debbie Reynolds, Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Shirley Temple, and the horror types.....Boris Karloff, Lon Cheney, Peter Lorre, Bela Lugosi, and Vincent Price.

Another all-time favorite: John Wayne.
