I confronted my boss today, like I told you I would. I explained what The Bitch had told me, and asked him why they had chosen others over me, when I'm ATLEAST AS GOOD as they are, if not better.
I explained that they were in a financial crisis - they lost 1.000.00:- SKR last month - and they must try to get by with as little staff as possible, and that's why he had asked The Bitch to only schedule the very best. He hadn't said anything to The Bitch about whom to choose, that was her own decision.
I pointed out that if they wanted the very best, it made even less sense not appointing ME the hours - yeah, I was really modest today - since I'm very good, eager to learn, eager to improve, and extremely dedicated to the company. I told him I want to learn more, to do even more than just answer the phone for a phone company, I wanted to sell, I wanted to be trained in the insurance company procedures, I wanted to learn it all!!!
My boss asked if I was willing to sell products for another phone company, and I said hell,yes! (without the hell-part), and he promised to talk to the coach of that department, who was actively looking for people right now, and that guy would get back to me TODAY.
I walked over to my friends, who told me that they had missed me, wondered where I'd been, etc, and then, lo and behold, back comes The Boss, and tells me that he has just talked to the coach in question, and they want me to work from 8am to 5pm monday to friday next week.
Ask and ye shall receive fat nothing, demand and ye shall get a helluva lot!
This calls for a nana:
