Who's the absolute best around here?

I'm curious to see who will nominate themselves or their friends.

Personally, I think I am good but not among the best. I have to say though that I think Sandman, and Sabledrake are truly the cream of the crop. That's My own personal opinion I don't care what their rankings are storywise, I just know that when I read something they write I get sucked in from beginning to end.

I don't think that's a fair question. "Best" can mean so many things. DurtGurl is the "best" in her genre, because she's the only one who would stoop so low. That certainly doesn't mean she's any good, though.

My reading of stuff on the site has been limited, because I really don't like to read erotica. I've read enough to know quality, though, and to recognize a writer who's not only very talented but also puts effort into it. That's Muffie.

There are so many - and as open thighs said, it does depend on my mood. Some writers are category-specific. If I'm in the mood for something else, I'll choose . . . something else!

I really don't think I read enough at all, let alone from one particular author, to define a 'best', or even a personal favourite. Of the stories that I've read, the author usually only has one or two others to choose from, which I don't think is enough to form a full opinion on.

Maybe I should just go read stories for the sake of reading, then I would have more to choose from and may be able to answer this question instead of just waffling about it...

Dirty Old Man, Dixon Carter Lee, and Whispersecret

These are the three best--in alphabetical order--in my opinion. Though, DCL does seem to get to the end of the story and just suddenly remember he's writing for a porno site and fuck it all up. There are a lot of others out that who are really, really good. I like to read Madame Manga, Sabledrake, GH Lawrence, Risia Skye, T@nman, Libidinal, and a few others, too.

On a serious note there are so many best guys and gals here, best at what they do that is, no two authors are identical and no two write exactly the same style of story, and of course each may be the best at their particular genre.
