Assuming the present war gets wrapped up soon, who's next?

Hopefuly none of them we don't need to go TR roughridding around the world.

We've been staging troops out of Jordan already, even if they deny it, so I don't think that's a problem.

Syria would be a pretty convenient left turn.

I chose France.

True, they don't have a Saddam Hussein or anything, but c'mon.

Nobody likes the French.

North Korea, but not by our choice. That Kim Jong Il is one wacky SOB.

Good Point! I will alert the army. Bob, Frank? You guys ready?

I prefer Jordan myself, he just has such a nice jump shot. Michael must be stopped.

Yeahand they're AXIS of EVIL , too!We need to link our Afghan province with our Iraqii one, I presume.

But they're already more democratic than Kuwait & Arabia...

Actually, Syria could be in for it, if Saddam & sons have really fled there.

I want Congressionally declared wars from here on out.

Sorry like that will ever happen again.

Personally, if we did go after one...I think it will be Iran. Iran would be a good staging area for a move on Pakistan.

N Korea is definitely one that should be gone after, but I think that Pakistan should be dealt with before N Korea.

Jordan's retired as many times as yayati has left :D

If Saddam did flee to Syria (which I highly doubt) that might shift the focus to them.

If not, North Korea has to be reigned in. However, I think it will be resolved through diplomacy. Well, if the UN and China get off their ass it will.

Funny that with all the cries for World Consensus and war as a last resort, few countries are saying anything about North Korea.

North Korea is a much greater danger than Iraq was. Of course that became clearer after we had already started putting troops in place. It's the same thing with Iran.

I think I need to notify my representitives in writing that that will be my future criteria for political support.

What's your party's platform plank on the issue, Azwed?

My guess is Syria. There is plenty of unrest already in Iran, and that problem might take care of itself. Syria, meanwhile, is an open haven for terrorists and needs to be dealt with. If Syria undergoes a regime change Lebanon will surely follow.
It would be a shame to have all those assets in the area and not use them in a fairly simple military maneuver. Sadly, however, Syria has little in the way of natural resources, so action against that country would blow the shit out of donkeydickhead's inane argument that it's "all about oil."
Some might argue that further action in the Middle East will incite more terrorist violence. I argue this: How could those who already hate us hate us more? Depriving terrorists of a home base, or several home bases, does nothing but increase security in the civilized world.
