Here is the thing.

When I was young, there was a time when there were Smurfs in stores, but not on TV.

I once believed that the gift of a Smurf could win a fair maiden's heart.

Who else has once owned, does own, or has given Peyo's little blue people as gifts?

I always rooted for Gargamal.

*(at least I think that was his name) LOL
V~~~~~

*is relieved that Smurfs were not just a figment of his imagination after all* ;)

There was always something strange that there was only one Smurfett to all those Smurfs.

Of course the usual specualtion was unavoidable.

Well if you know...then why bite your tongue?

The object of trivia is to get an answer or at least die trying:p

I thought I'd leave it to someone else...

Didi you mean a "fictionally-real" one, or the figurines?

Smurfs?

You are a sick, sick, sick individual.

*dramatically*
If ownership of a Smurf is a sin... Then let be GUILTY!

I had the whole set, but gave them to my brother...

They are worth a fortune now.

Question number 2

Ok, here's another smurf trivia question...and well the last one.

If they are not answered by the time i get back..i'll answer them

What was Gargamal's cats name?

Oh hell yeah, I have had that happen alot with the stuff I used to collect then scrapped thinking "I am too old for this junk now..." <sighs> I would be a multi-millionairess by now!

Ok, not quite, but nearly....lol ;)

I would also like to point out that it WAS the Smurfs cartoon show that ended quality crappy cartoons for kids and replaced them with highly marketed crappy cartoons for kids!

*trying to keep smurfs and beds seperate*
*failing*

When I moved over the summer I unpacked a box that I hadn't opened in nearly ten years...it had three smurf figurines in it...Sleepy, Painter and Smurfette. (I can't believe I even remember their names).

Now I will proudly admit to having Strawberry Shortcake toys!
