Who's got a recipe for moose?

A friend gave me a moose roast, ground moose, and moose stew meat. Plus a couple moose steaks.

Anyone have recipes? I want to cook this stuff so that it tastes good. I've never tried it before.

I'm not kidding.

The background is that a year ago I smashed up my minivan avoiding a lousy moose that was walking at night in my lane on the road. So when my friend's hubby had a successful moose season, she brought me some of the meat.

Poetic justice, no?

I really do want recipes or just seasoning tips.

moose steak taste best barbqued with nothing else added to it

moose roast i find tastes best with whole garlic cloves poked into it, use a knife to pop the slits into it

Moose burger tastes fabulous in shepherds pie.

moose stew meet well simply put in stew.
