Who's confused?

I've known since I was young that I had more kinks and fetishes than the average guy, but for my entire adult life my sexual experiences centered entirely around women. Recently, I had my first experience with another man and (I don't wanna mince words) I fucking loved it!!! So therein lies the confusion...
Look, we're all mature adults and we know that sexuality isn't all black and white, but being introduced to something so new and different at 26 makes me wonder what else I've been missing out on. Am I just bi? Gay? Just into everything that comes my way?
I'm a big fan of the sex columnist Dan Savage and he seems to think bisexuality is a myth. A last refuge for sex addicts. Really?! This is a man who's open to, like, every fetish in the world. So is that what's going on? Am I just attracted to everyone and everything.
No real point to this rambling post, but any input from bisexuals of either gender would be appreciated. And, hey, now that I've discovered I'm into dicks as well as chicks, anyone of either gender who wants to PM or exchange pics should get in touch. I don't know why Savage is so down on being bi; seems like a pretty exciting new frontier to me :D

Well you said it you like dicks and chicks if it stops there your bisexual. If you like dicks and chicks in any way shape or form to cross dressers transgender and any and every other variation your more then likely pansexual. Either way if your having fun who cares where you classify yourself or others just have fun and be safe.

Good point. If I've learned anything from this site, it's that labeling is pointless when it comes to sexuality.

That is total bullshit.
I have been bisexual for past 30+ years and all I am addicted to are video games.

Someone who claims to be a "sex columnist" should be a little bit less ignorant.

I took 3 weeks off LotRO and in that time found 2 Doms, 2 subs and 1 switch, 2 of which I am quite seriously negotiating to meet for real next month.
I should go back to my game

Stray...I love you:rose:, If you ever get a craving for burbon and ice cream, I'll bring the ice cream(but we'll have to raid winepleasurers again for the burbon)

Excuse me for highjacking the thread...I can be aroused by other women but generally, not so much. But I can understand being Bi. Sexuality is not a yes or no. Life is too complicated for that

Aww I love you too :rose:

And I do love bourbon ice cream. And raiding guys (and girls)

Totally! I was shocked to hear him say it. But if you're not familiar with the dude, he's one of the most popular sex columnists online, so he's spreading this bullshit idea to a lot of people.

There are gay people who seem to feel that saying and being Bi is just being trendy or only part way out of the closet and the anti-gay group use it as "proof" that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice...making part of the gay side upset with people who are bi....so in other words political crap.

that's what I see...(my opinion in no way supported by any specific source)

Dan is gay and has a gay agenda. No big whoop there. Still, bisexuality is something many homosexuals rally against as it dilutes the focus on homosexuality. Adds more ambiguity, makes things less black an white etc... And many gay people believe there has to be a clear defining line between straight and queer. Makes getting your message out easier for the straight establishment to wrap their minds around. At least that's the way I see it.

Either way fuck it (and apparently you do). Enjoy yourself with your consensual partner.

That reminds me of an episode of The L Word where Dana says to Alice:
"Jesus Christ, Al, when are you going to choose between dick or pussy and spare us the gorey bisexual details?!"
