You can have my 3D printer when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

 šŸ¤·

I don't think that you're ever going to be able to purge the internet of
the files needed to create such a thing and you won't legislate it away
with the waving of the magic rainbow wand of altruistic intention...

Let's face it, as pernicious as it is, we still have child porn available.

It seems to me, the government should try taking the criminals off the streets, not the guns.

There's always someone out there wanting to set them free
because they're not a majority white population ergo,
they had to be arrested because of Racism.
Racist policing creates crime...

;) ;)

It's a head-scratcher. I have several dozen firearms and not a single one of them has ever committed a crime.

Parts of it are just silly. The record keeping changes are going to lead to problems.

Less than 2% of gun crimes involve "ghost guns" and what the ATF defines as "ghost guns" includes those that have had their serial numbers defaced to the point they can't be read. They certainly are addressing a serious national problem here.

I loved it when he sternly said, "We're going to prosecute "ghost gun" crimes." What a fucking joke, they don't prosecute most existing firearm violations. Maybe he meant that they're only going to prosecute "ghost gun" crimes.

There's nothing in what they're trying to do that has the criminals concerned.

It's hard to prosecute crimes that fall hardest on minorities...

I think in the minds of the Left, ghost guns are a right-wing militia thing.
It sounds scary, "Ghost," and that puts it right up there with scary-looking guns.

I think the concern is that ghost guns fire ghost bullets; which are much more deadly than regular bullets. Once the traceability of a gun is lost, it becomes a WMD. I think Putin is using ghost guns on the children in Ukraine.

What is it about Biden that when he speaks sternly you can't help but bust out laughing. :D

I know this is TIC, but there is a seriousness on the left that wants all rounds tagged with a unique identifier.

No. They just want to create impossibilities...

Forcing banks not to make loans is just the tip of the iceberg.

Symbolism over substance. Nothing will change until they get serious about dealing with the criminals.

They are serious about criminals...,

...they are also very serious about restoring the voting rights of the catch-and-release criminal.

(They being those on the Left)
