Who would be your pick?

After a brief moment of reconsideration, I decided that I'd like to sit down with a few others. One of which is Lars Ulrich, so I can smack him for selling out. Another is Joey Belladonna, so I can smack him from leaving Anthrax. Then there would be Clint Eastwood, so I can smack him for the whole Bridges Over Madison County thing, that was just wrong. Then there would be Al Gore, so I can smack him for this entire election fiasco.

I would like to have a nice sit down chai tea latte shootin the breeze afternoon with Whispersecret, famous author, and CreamyLady, famous author. I think the conversation would be interesting. I would just hope that I could hold up my end of it.

I would like the opportunity to have a conversation with Gore Vidal . . . the Smart One in that family. I seldom miss any interview he gives.

KillerMuffin, it would be great to sit down with some tea and just talk forever. I don't think you'd have any problem holding up your end of the conversation. My own conversational style tends to wander over anything and everything, though. I'm easily distracted.

I would talk to Sean O'connery I would like to have a beer with that man (of course I would take him to bed he is just too>>>>>)

THE WIFE

I so agree with you on this one. No matter how old the man gets he just gets sexier and sexier!

I'm not a Met fan, but I'd love to sit and knock back a few beers with Mike Piazza. A couple of weeks ago he was a guest on Saturday Night Rocks, a weekly hard rock/heavy metal show that airs here in NY on WNEW FM. I was really impressed! The guy is a real metalhead. He brought a bunch of CDs from his personal collection, and it was such a kick to hear songs from bands I'd forgotten about, like Laaz Rockit. I'd love to chat about metal with him -- maybe even talk him into letting me tape a few of those rare CDs of his!

Madonna - she is so innovative, creative, and shocking; a woman who knows how to get what she wants.

Rush Limbaugh. Oh sorry. I though you said who would be your prick!

Tom Wolfe, though somehow I don't see it being over beers, probably have to be brandy or port or something like that...

Bruce Springsteen

Derek Jeter, just to be able to hang with a guy that seems to ooze cool

Somebody famous still living: Tom Clancy, Colin Powell. Famous but dead: Douglas MacArthur, U. S. Grant, Louis L'Amour, Zane Gray, Robert Hielien.

Interesting that they are all authors or soldiers, some both.

I would like to sit down with Billy Joel and get him drunk enought to tell me that he will play at my wedding. :)
Madison

getting him that drunk might not be hard, but getting him to actually show up ... you would have to kidnap him ... lol

Stephen King and Barbra Kingsolver in the here and the now, as well as Aaron Sorkin. I want to see the talent that keeps me gritting my teeth and spitting in wretched envy up close. I might toss Dennis Miller into the mix just cause he seems like he'd be a great way to piss away an evening.

If we're talking about those long departed us, then Oscar Wilde. A floppy, unattractive scrapper with more wit than the world has ever before, or since, known. That has to be worth a couple beers to see.

Now i agree TOTALLY there. I think he's the most interesting person alive today. Not to mention the sexiest man in Hollywood and the only really GOOD James Bond!

George Lucs and Isca Asimov, two of my favourite authors/creators. I love Star Wars (esp. Eppisode IV) and all of Asimovs books, it'd be a blast to get more details on those universes from the people who created them.

Also I'd like to get totally piss faced with Richard Fish the character from Alley McBeal, the man is a riot and in a strangely disturbing way very wise.

Jerry Bruckheimer

I would just chill with Jerry Bruckheimer. He is a very accomplished Producer, and I envy him very much for the quality movies that he has made. But I don't think we would drink beer... possibly something a little more high class... oh well, it would be cool either way...
