Who would be the better president?

who would be the better President?

  • Hillary Clinton

  • Condoleezza Rice

    Votes: 15 45.5%

  • Total voters

Let me know when the results are in. I'll be moving to Canada either way.

reminds me of a scene from the movie "Chicken Run"

chicken #1: we're either going to die free chickens, or die trying!

chicken #2: are those the only choices?

(i refuse to choose)

Lets first see if anyone actually knows anything about both their careers.

I doubt seriously that most people know anything about Rice.

I don't know who Mz. Rice is. Please be kind. I am a product/victim of Alabama public education...

They both have distinguished careers but, I'd have to ask, is there some disease that is affecting Americans right now that makes them think that no experience is required for the most important job in the country? Bush had limited political experience, as do Clinton and Rice. Rice, especially has no experience in politics. Shouldn't that weigh on your mind?

You aren't thinking like the Average american. We don't like politicians they are dirty lying bastards that only want to screw us over.

Using that form of logic the less experience in real politics the better.

What people forget is that anyone can be a dirty lying bastard and that politicians don't have the monopoly on those traits.

Rice understand international politics and law better then probably anybody in the current administration. She does not have much domestic experience though.

Sure, but it's like asking me who I think who'd be a better president, John Elway or Roger Clemens. What would I be basing it on?

Depends on how you view the presidency. I have always personaly thought that the president should know international politics and affairs. The president is the figure head of our nation and our government and should be knowledable about how to interact with other nation-states.

Not everyone is going to agree with me on that though. Many people will say that is not the presidents main job and he has advisors to do that for him.

Bush is weak in just about ever aspect of government except for compromise. He has experince in that, even if it is in Texas where the difference between Reps and Dems is very little. Thats why it is a damn good thing he has some of the best advisors to be in the White house in my lifetime.

On a side note does anyone else think that Bush sounds like Mr. Mackey from South Part when he taks some times?

(Bush at a speech)

Mmmhhhhhh Drugs are baadddd

Mmmmhhhhhhh Terrorists are baadddd

Mmmmhhhh Abortionists are badddd

*Random advisor runs up to Bush cups hand over microphone*

Sir, you can't say that you will alienate the moderate voters.

Bush, "Mmmhhhh ooookkk."

LMAO!!!

Hilary has done some very bad things .........

problem with the american voter, most seem to vote for the last name they heard... who cares about the facts...

Pssh, it's Hillary. Wife to a successful President -- successful referring to the order he kept the country in, no matter what his personal discrepancies were. Besides, if Dubya likes Rice, that's all the more reason for me to vote against her.

Choose & perish.

As I recall, Azwed, Rice is an accomplished Cold Warrior, anti-commie , & soviet expert. Very smart & successful.

I think she's as outdated as our government's energy policy.

Now I'll read your link.

I didn't know her last job was as Stanford's Provost. I didn't know she had administrative experience, I thought of her as an accademic & a think-tanker.

The only choices are an academic and an idiot? There must be a more qualified female candidate somewhere.
