Who won?

Did not watch! :)
After the debate, Donald Trump came up to Vice President Harris with tears in his eyes and said "I'm so sorry for everything I've done. When you're elected President, could you possibly find it in your heart to treat me with mercy? I know I don't deserve it, but you have a kind face ... ."

Then he slunk away.

I initially thought Harris won, but then BSG complained that Trump had 9 more minutes. That's not the bragging of a winning team. So now I'll say it's too close to call. TBD on November 5 or later that week.

I was pointing out that the moderators were bending over backwards to help Trump. Vice President Harris still totally dominated the night.

Watch who advocates and who avoids a second debate. If Harris can't win again, she avoids. But one debate is not enough with the lack of interviews and press conferences. Trump is always ready to talk to anyone.

For balance, a second debate should be hosted by something less corporate, but that seems impossible. One moderator each from Fox and PBS might be the closest we can get to an impartial panel.

One of trump‘s supporters on CNN said Kamala looked bad because she provided answers that were “scripted, and rehearsed.”

Which begs the question, “what the fuck is wrong with that?!”

So she prepared answers to questions she expected to be asked while Trump just winged it, and badly, with every question? Hmmmm…. Which approach is more befitting a President?

Then a rematch won't happen. Until it does happen.

Did Kamala have an earpiece hidden under her hair? Walter Kirn noted her hair seemed stuck to her head on one side instead of curving away. That could explain her inconsistencies, a competent speaker one day and fumbling another day without coaching.

Trump didn't win. Harris didn't win. Neither one really answered any of the questions. And the moderators sucked and had horrible questions and no control over the debate.

I want questions about current policy and answers of what they plan to do. Instead, we got Harris saying Trump sucks and Trump saying Harris hasn't done anything in 3 and a half years.

You said to watch watch for who advocates for a second debate and who avoids one.

Vice President Harris wants a rematch, Donald Trump doesn't. By your own standards, Donald Trump knows he can't win going up against Vice President Harris.

“Did Kamala have an earpiece?”

You’re kidding, right? She sounded like somebody who expected the questions and had prepared answers.

He sounded like he was hearing each question for the first time.

I watched the entire debate beginning to end. There was not a single question asked that shouldn't have been expected.

He counted on his bluster and apparent confidence to carry the day - as it did with Biden - but it didn’t. Not even close

Do you want a rematch?

If there's popular demand for a second debate, then candidates agree or lose votes.

I'd like to hear at least one debate every month before we make our decisions for a four year term.

Seriously? ..Yeah, they both gave an answer to the question they WANTED to hear rather than the one that was asked - but that happens at EVERY DEBATE! But at least Harris's answers were more coherent and sounded like they were coming from an adult who actually planned her responses. Trumps answers were nonsensical and always meandered to grievances like goddamn crowd size. And he leaned into EVERY punch she showed up to throw - each of which he should have expected.

Oh, and he talked about dogs being eaten by Haitians, abortions in the 9th month and babies being killed outside the womb. There's that..

You saw a tie? ..I saw a clobbering.

I think every debate should have a balanced team of moderators so nobody can cry "bias!"
