Who was the best James Bond and which was the best movie??

Ahhhhhhh another rainy afternoon...time for my fave pastime.....Bond films!! But who do you think was the best one, and which was the best movie?

Best James Bond is easy...gotta be Sean Connery.....he had it all!!

Best film is more difficult....i've managed to narrow it to four:

Goldfinger - Connery
Live and Let Die - Moore
View to a Kill - Moore (Also gets best soundtrack for that awesome Duran Duran song)
Goldeneye - Brosnan

What do you lot think??

I liked Roger Moore because he gave the series a needed light touch. Coonery was good but it was more serious and I liked the fun of Moonraker and Live and Let Die.

Apologies, that's Connery, Sean Connery. Yes Duran Duran had a great song there. I liked A View to a Kill too.

Sean Connery was THE best, and I pretty much enjoyed all his Bond movies.

Must say that "Thunderball" has a special place in my heart! It was beautiful to watch, had Tom Jones singing the theme and was paired with the Beatles "Help" film at our movie theater!

He is the best James Bond there EVER was. I adore this guy. He is just fab.
Pierce Brosnan comes second.

Q was fantaststic....John Cleese makes a pretty good replacement but it wont be the same without him.....

I also love the fact that M is now a woman.....that works really well i think.

Connery is without doubt the best but I think they've all been good in their own way except for Lazenby who was so wooden he must shit sawdust.

Best film? Hard to say but Brosnan's have been great and Thunderball would probably be my pick if pushed

Yeah, Desmond Llewelyn... he was the President of the James-Bond-Society at my University. He was a really nice chap and always had a few gimmicks to show us.

Sean was definately the best of them all

and while i liked all of the movies...i wouls have to say

Live and Let Die was my favorite

and Wasn't Dr. No the first Bond film?

im not 100% on this one but i think casino royale was the first bond movie with david niven and woody allen more
of a comedy though

Dr NO was the first 'official' Bond film...... Casino Royale was like a spy film where the character of James Bond featured.....according to my father who is the Bond Guru!
