Can someone tell what was wrong with Charles Bukowski? Yeah, he was patchy; yeah he was inconsistent (is that the same thing?); but when he was good he was pretty good. I quite like the idea of 'playing the piano drunk like a percussion instrument until the fingers begin to bleed a bit' - but I haven't read that particular poem for at least 20 years.

I believe Robert E. Lee kicked US Grants ass every time they collided, Lee killed more Union soldiers during Grants tenure than he killed thru 3 full years of fighting every one else. Yet Grant won the war.

I have no issue with people wanting to toke up here and there to chill out, but I know too many 24/7 stoners who can't pay their rent, but always have a full bong to think legalizing pot is a good thing.

But I forgot....marijuana is not addictive, right?

Blow my mind this country is in a "war against tobacco" but lets legalize pot. Goddamn does the world laugh at us or what?
