I'll take butter and jam please. Unless you are making sanwiches, then mayo and plenty of meat in between the slices of bread. mmmmm! I love homemade cooking. The key to my heart is definitely throught my stomach.

Okay I mean nothing sexual,JL. But I love home made bread and would love some with strawberry jam.
Did you bake it in the oven,or use one of those bread machines? I have been tempted to get one,I love the smell of fresh bread.

No machine. I make it all by hand. I have a recipe where I make the dough up at night and it sets in the fridge. In the morning, I shape it into loaves or rolls. The strawberry jam I made this summer. There is a strawberry farm not far from me where I pick, then make freezer jam. I desperately love peach jam, which never turns out for me. My mother in-law has pity and sends me a pint or two

Oh gosh thats good. I have never been able to do that. But around here I do get lots of homemade jellies and jams. My favorite is fig jelly. Sounds bad,but tastes wonderful.

When my kitchen was built I had a marble island made to height for me to knead bread. At 5'6" the standard height ones were not comfy for me.
As for the butter, I make my own, I'm spoiled I know.
