And yes, my ex found out as we were going through divorce and those transactions were very likely to be surfaced during the financial interrogations. I told her ahead of time so she wouldn't be KOd by the lawyers.

Not so much being able to dictate. Beauty should be experienced often, but in the casual life that's a sticky wicket. Unsurprisingly (to me, at least) I look for common souls. I've met a lot of lovely ladies, and I've passed on them--they were looking for something quite similar to past spouses and that wasn't attractive to me.

But there are a lot of ladies out there who are looking for a connection, and if that's they're game, I'm in. In my life, I've had to pay through the nose anyway so it might as well be on my terms.

It depends, as always.

For me, I'm willing to have the conversation pretty much right away. I know why I'm there, and I know why they're meeting with an old git like me. If a lady wants $10k per month up front, I'd rather know that sooner than later. I actually have a tiered approach, which to me is eminently reasonable. To whit:

$3k first three months. This is the honeymoon period.

$4.5k for the following three months. This is the real "getting to know you" period where we reveal ourselves to each other.

$6k for the remainder, plus gifts, plus yadda-yadda-yadda which I've probably been throwing in anyway because I'm a spendthrift.

After that? Don't know, never made it past this point intentionally. I'm only lying a little bit here.

It's an interesting and kind of fascinating way to go about things if you're able to do it. The problem is that most of the "sugar babies" end up disillusioned after some time in the life.

What starts out as new, fun, and financially satisfying ends up in sadness and broken spirits. Many of the girls end up regretting their decisions. On the Lisa Ling special, one girl heard two men at a party discussing how much they'd be willing to pay for her to do (fill in the blank) with them and she broke down in tears later. (The blonde in the second clip is the girl) So, you have to have thick skin and a strong mental fortitude to do it.

Believe it or not, many young women are paying their way through college by being sugar babies.

I plan on writing a story on the subject. I've done a little background research and most of the young women don't do it for very long. Funny enough, I'm not able to find much on male sugar babies.
