who reads comics?

my friend just got me into Warlands by Pat Lee and i read the occasional Transmetropolitan. how about any of you?

I'm a longtime reader of more "mainstream" titles like Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, The Avengers, the various incarnations of the Justice League over time. I've been reading and collecting comics for over 20 years now, and believe me, they're going to crowd me out of my house at this rate.

How could I have missed this thread the first time.
I'm working on my third long box now.. lacking a job at the moment this is difficult but I will preserver. That and the fact that I haven't made it to the store for a couple months, the storeowner decided he had to hook me up with some college kid.

I've been collecting since I was five years old. Probably have 3000 or so stashed in the closet.

Growing up, my favorites were Iron Man and Avengers... although Daredevil and Fantastic Four were also up there.

I enjoyed the Claremont/Byrne run on X-Men, but I've long since grown weary of mutants. Blah blah blah...

I still check out the occasional title from the Big Two, but my favorite in recent years has been Sin City by Frank Miller.

This guy has a complete disregard for the well-being of his characters!

i've wanted to make comics of my own since i was 7
I read most any Marvel and some DC X-Men is one of my favs, spiderman. I have about 400 archie double digests.

ElfQuest is a really good comic i suggest it to any comic lover

There is a site online where there are hundreds of them have been scaned in and you can read them there. or d/load them page by page (time consomeing, but if you d/load each page as your reading you don't notice the time)

I had to stop buying them after college cause I was collecting about 30 titles a month. usually I just follow my favorite artists. One day .. I'll be able to actually walk into a comic book store again.

I have about 6,000 at last rough count. my wife is constantly bemoaning the space they take up, but now with the new house, I have tons of room for more!! bwaa haa haa!!

it's been a while since I bought any but I like: anything with Todd McFarlane drawing, starwars, xmen, spiderman, wichblade, darkness, lovenrockets, anything byrne, wolverine, anything frank miller, sandman, batman, blah blah blah.

Coolness! that was a trippy series. i like wolvy, (heh heh follow the crowd right?) he It doesn't hurt his first appearance in comics was the same month i was born. (Incredible Hulk, Oct. 1974 if your wondering)
