Hermaphrodite, defined as: a mythical or science fictional creature with a complete set of both male and female anatomy, capable of both siring and bearing children.

For NaNoWriMo I've been working on an erotic novel about a hermaphroditic race of people who also have some ability to do magic. All the characters are referred to by male pronouns because that seemed less awkward that using invented genderless pronouns. The major fetish in the story is for impregnation and pregnancy. There's also bestiality, sort of. They magically create servants by sculpting an artificial body then animating it with a soul stolen from an animal. This results in things which look like people but have the brains of animals. So having sex with one (possibly resulting in a halfbreed child) is sort of bestiality. There are also people with animalistic-looking skin such as leopard spots and pinto patches. Other fetishes which have appeared in the story so far are fisting/giant dildos/a giant penis, a little bit of lactation, and heat cycles, if the idea of going into heat can be considered a fetish. Later in the story there may be incest. Maybe some watersports too, and possibly submission and collaring.

So, here's my question - is there actually an audience for this novel? Would anyone here buy a novel or ebook like this? Have I included too many different fetishes such that everyone will dislike something?

EDIT: To clarify, this is not the story linked to in my sig, although it's somewhat similar.

No matter what you write someone will dislike it, so don't worry about that. Just focus on what you want to say and how you want to say it.

I wouldn't worry about it except that I'm flat broke and I don't want to waste my time writing something I won't be able to sell.

Wolfman and Etoile - Thanks I'm glad you like the idea! :) It doesn't seem complicated to me, but then maybe that's because I wish the plot was more solid and complex; I hope it will evolve to be so as I continue to write it. The worldbuilding probably could be considered complicated, but then that's true of most fantasy and science fiction novels.
