Who let the Muses loose?

Have seen more than a couple of posts on the AH recently by people who have been taken over and violently dominated by their muses- forcing them to write until their hand fall off. Well I want to know who let them loose, cos I think one is trying me on for size at the moment!

I do not have the time or energy for a muse, but i don't want to let her go... Writing makes me happy and satisfied. So here's the question... does anyone want to have a time share? They can have mornings and early afternoons, as long as I get late afternoons and evenings. We can divide up the wee small hours as appropriate.

As one of the people you noticed earlier, lets just say I have mine hog-tied at the moment and I'm plotting a suitable revenge as we speak.....

As for whether you have the time or the energy, a Muse could care less. They are the bane and the scourge of writers all in one cute sexy little package and you'll find they don't like to share one bit..... They just sit on your shoulder and run off at the mouth or refuse to say a word... either way they are a pain....

Good luck and if we don't hear back we'll slip chocolate under the door, sometimes you can distract them...

Even if she compels me to jot down notes while I'm at work, which prompts others to ask me what I'm writing. The muse that inhabits my sphere is never seen nor heard. She, (I am sure she is a she) visits during Random Eye Movement sleep, I think; the only tangible evidence a lingering scent upon awakening with a head full of ideas.

But, alas, I fear she is fickle and a bit of a flibbertigibbet, for she never says good bye.

The possessive and jealous soul that I am, "can't live if living is without you" (Nilsen), "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone", leaves me furious and enraged to imagine she is with someone else; but, "She's always a woman to me..."

But, alas again, I am such a hopeless fool with and without her.
