Who knew that I needed a Master's Degree in engineering as well as a Sears 400 piece Master Mechanic tool set to get through my first Christmas morning as a single mom?

Who knew?

Now, where did that pretty pink tool box go?????

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a single Mom, but my sister is. I helped play Santa.

Imagine the child's horror when the brand new batteries for Slithering Jake were dead.

Thank goodness for convenience stores that are open even on Christmas Day.

Thanks, Seth.

We did make it. There was a shortage on AA batteries, but lots of old, dust covered toys had AA batteries!

I hope everyone's Christmas went well.

finding batteries

Way to be resourceful ! Good thing you didn'y have to pirate the batteries from your own toys!;)

You can go that route, or you can flirt with your neighbors and get them to do it for you ...lol

Happy holidays!

Ahh my neighbors....

They are so old that their Christmas presents for children were probably made from corn husks and muslin.

We managed. I called in the troops. I served an enormous dinner to my favorite brother!

:D

Miss Taken.................

Having been a single parent dad. I remember organizing my daughter's Barbi ward robe closet for Christmas. You know I never knew each item had its on special place. Who ever designed that never saw the inside of my clothe closet. Hey, I trust you won't tell anybody I was playing with doll's things

Hey, wait a second...........

No one told me this was world wide.............:( :( :(

OH well!

Worldwide or not, I am sure there are several who like barbie dolls out there.

In fact, I know it is the truth!

:D

My poor kids......

I tried to get their bikes together,but.....oh well thank gawd for male relatives. ;)

bikes

I know that now...

But at the time,I thought it wouldnt be that hard, and it really wasnt. Its a stuck bolt that I cannot get loose on one and the wires of the gears on the other. But I got them together and everything. I am proud of that. ;)

I didn't add to all the "screwing" that went on before/during/after Christmas :(

I did put some gifts together though!!
