With one small canon he was bent on destroying our entire planet simply because it blocked his view.
Unlike the Vogons in the Hitch-Hiker's Guide, who were just following orders, Marvin, a single individual, took on the task of destroying all human kind just to please himself.

Of course the Earth Hero, Bugs Bunny saved us all. Marvin was no match for the clever Bugs.
