I did watch the PBS miniseries "Manor House," which was originally called "The Edwardian County House." I suppose PBS thought that Americans would be too stupid to know what Edwardian refers to.

I would say that the Paris Hilton appeal is that she is everyman's woman which is what makes her so incredibly hot. Now, I know you say she is too skinny and there are women much prettier. But, here are a few pictures and just take a look at Paris.
