Who is going to see Harry Potter on opening day??

Pfft, send them tomorrow by themselves. You and I can go next weekend.

I will do like last year- wait a week or so and then go. The theater was fairly empty and we walked right up to get tickets with no wait in line.

The tickets for opening day went on sale weeks ago around here. I'd bet they are already sold out so I couldn't go the first day even if I was nutty enough to want to.

maybe after work on Friday. But I think I might just wait a week. I have a fear of large crowds of people.... I think I'll wait until the hubbub dies down

Got tickets for Sunday.

Really looking forward to a packed cinema with kids rustling crisps popcorn and crisps and making stupid comments about the film. And let's not forget the idiots who forget to turn their mobile off.

Can't wait.

:)

No way will I go on opening day. I like kids well enough, but not enough to spend two hours locked in a cramped seat in a theatre with hundreds of them.

My boy and I will wait and go next weekend when things are calmer.

I think it's safe to say most of us are waiting a week....myself included.

My close friend is the same way, which is why she and I are going a week later.

I am.
My sister would kill me otherwise. I don't mind it's a cute story and it's fun teasing my sis over her "love"

I think I'll hang it over my kids' heads all weekend in an attempt to extract good behaviour out of them. If it works, I'll take them on Sunday afternoon.

i'm planning on going tomorrow, but i don't have tickets yet..so who knows.

Pssst... Here's a hint

Harry wins in the end, but it looks pretty hairy for a little while.

How much money did I just save you?

Anyone who's read the book knows that, RawHumor, haha. People are still gonna go just to see it acted out rather than just have the book, just like most of the LotR fans.

I used the word 'just' 3 times in that last post. Something feels grammatically wrong about that.

Hey I think that little boy's adorable.
It's sort of like the Superman movies. We've read the comic books. We know he's going to win, but we go anyway. We'll all criticize the special effect and see how close it was to both the book and to how we imagined it all to be.

Another hint:

It's an almost carbon copy of the first movie. Very formula driven.

Yes, I've already seen it
