Who else spends more time revising a story than they do writing the first draft?

I try to avoid getting trapped in the editing swamp as much as I can. While editing can be interesting it is also insanely time consuming to do passes over and over and I just don't have the time for it. 1-2 passes for editing after the first draft is the ideal that I aim for, sometimes that actually works out lol
