Who else hates battleship grey/puke lavender?

I'm assuming from todd's post that this color was chosen to help people who have seizures and other physical problems.

If that's the case, I can definitely live with it.

It's still ugly as hell though!

Well, nobody said the only alternative was hot pink and chartreuse. Why can't we change the color scheme back to the way it was on the old board? Or at least lighten this color scheme up.

But frankly, I would deal with a battleship gray board for the rest of my life if it would just speed the *&@# up! Somebody fix this!

We are messing with the colors right now. Hopefully, in the next few weeks we'll be able to add several options so that each of you can choose the one that you like the best.

Right now, you can see what we're messing with by going to your Control Panel and then Options, then scroll down and choose "BlueWhite" as your Style Set. It's just us messing around right now, but it gives you an idea of what can be done.

I am thinking that the whole new thing looks great! I had no idea all this was gonna change and almost thought I was at the wrong site when it popped up.

Love the way I can see who posted last on the threads when I do a search on my name. Was always wishing that was there.

And the colors are pretty cool, why should I expect them to be my very favorites? I figure if you please just a few people you've done your best, causs so many people juss never wanna be pleased. And so a big rousing rousing applause for Laurel and Team! I think they must work awful hard to hold this place together and god knows I could never do such a thing.

Did you change the Style Set in the Control Panel or did it change without you doing anything? It's not supposed to just change - unless I did something wrong, which is always a good possibility!

It changed by itself. One minute it was lavender grey, the next cobalt.

People have the option to change the color of their text. Is there a way for me to filter that out so I can't see their variegated textualizations? Some of the text colors are bad.

KM, I have been trying to figure that out for you, and so far the answer is no. Someone suggested reading everything as the printable version but I fear that would prove to be a pain in the ass.

Ask Harold or Manu? They'll know if you can change anything.

The cobalt blue/white scheme is great,,, darker colors, even in backgrounds make my eyes cross


This combination is much easier to read and not as distracting.

What would you prefer PC? Fuschia? Vermillion? The Exocist Pea Soup Green? LOL. The idea of colour scheme options is great! I have a yellow/red scheme called hotdog on my computer at work. It doesn't bother me at all, but it sure as hell stops most others from borrowing my machine. LOL.
