Who drinks? And is it a problem?

It all depends on your personality and your ability to handle alcohol. To me, eight cans per night would be excessive, but it might not be a problem. Just bloody expensive (can you sense the student coming out?).

I have a few nights a month where I'll get nicely drunk (about 10-11 units or 5 pints), but mostly I just have the occasional beer. Am I boring? :D

*pounces Earl*

I drink. Its occasionally a problem... my problem is more control related than anything else. I don't get drunk every time I drink, and I don't drink every day. But when I do get drunk... christ...

8 tins of what?

I have a friend who thought she's be fine if she had only 3 or less. That was her rule. Then she had 3 "Manuel Mendes" at a Uni party and has no idea of what happened between that moment and the following day when she woke up.

I never drink anything stronger than light cider (2,5%).

I'm so much better than the rest of you!:p

J/K! J/K!

Stop hitting me!

I do drink, but only a beer and almost always after a workout. Really boring, I know.

I left a drunk, so seldom drink.

I don't think it'd be fair on my kids either to have two drinkers as parents.

Yep, I'm boring :D

I drink, I fall down. No problem.

Seriously. I was married to an alcoholic.

After that, I know I don't have a drinking problem. I have a couple of pints maybe twice a week.

I dRaNK before. That was a problem. Nowadays I just drink. Now and then. A little. Or a lot. But never too much.

I used to drink socially, and get drunk.. I never saw it as a problem, but I also never understood why I started drinking.

My father was an alchoholic all my life, and my eldest brother (role-model growing up) was killed by a drunk driver when I was 14.. I detested achohol.. I didn't drink until I moved to this town where I now live.. and that was when my wife left me I suppose.. she hadn't really left me at the point when I drank, she was just visiting her mom, but I guess I knew inside that she was leaving me.. I drank for 2 years, usually on the weekends, and almost every time falling down drunk.. All it amounted to was wasting a lot of money, I could've had just as much fun without alchohol..

Booze doesn't make you a fun person, and you aren't boring if you don't drink.. I should've quit a long time ago, considering I went on anti-depressants 8 months after I moved here (which was Febuary of 2002).. The higher my dosage of medication got, the cheaper drunk I became, so pretty soon, it only took 3 beers to get me drunk, so it was a cheap night out for me.

Anyways, I never considered myself an alchoholic, because I could quit at any moment, I just had no reason that I wanted too.. It was all there was to do in this town.. drink and go to the clubs.. (small town), since I've stopped drinking, none of my friends call me anymore, it rather kinda sucks.. but I also realized that most of them were just beer buddies, and that they liked me around because when I was drunk, I spent my money freely and bought booze for other people too.

But yeah, thats about it.. not a problem, but life is better without booze.. waste of money, it does nothing good for your body, or mind..

I drink on occassion but I drink whiskey, crown royal straight up and it's usually a pint. I have not drank since my birthday in May so will tell you how often. I thought about it tonight....actually I think I will:cool:

I tend to limit my drinking to be mostly when my children aren't home because I usually don't stop til I'm drunk when I do decide to have a bottle. Also my husband is a alchoholic so I prefer to stay sober for the most part.

Wicked:kiss:

P.S.
The only problem I have with drinking is that it makes me extremely horny and I'm not always with someone:(

I drink, usually Tequila, although I do like the ice cold beer on a hot day. I haven't gotten drunk in a long time though, I just don't like that feeling.

I used to drink. A lot, I suppose. I've got a few lost nights from the age of 15-22 and a lot of nights in the same time period that I wish I'd lost.

I don't drink often anymore. I don't enjoy getting obliterated the way I used to & I've yet to master the art of not binge-drinking. (Of course, the fact that I drink liquor instead of beer and have always been a lightweight tends to work against me there...;))

Margaritas are probably my favorite.

I rarely get so drunk I get sick, but it has happened on occasion.

I usually only drink socially.

It's not a problem.

I am an absolute teetotaler. I have no moral objection to the moderate drinking of others. I just never developed a taste for beer, wine, hard liquor, absinthe, milk plus velocet etc...

Well I do drink....but I couldn't even put it into a monthly consumption*L* I probably have 5 or 6 alcoholic drinks a YEAR! *L* I not a big fan of the taste of most alcohol...I like rum and coke and thats about it.

Back a few years ago I used to drink almost every night after work. Going out drinking is the best time to not have a car or a drivers license.

Now, every once in a while I will pick up a 6 pack of light beer at the store, but don't usually even end up drinking all of them.

Not sure why going 'out' isn't as much fun anymore. Guess it might have something to do with the fact that I would rather just sit at home and gaze into the eyes of my beautiful bride.
